National FFA Organization (FFA)
Mission Statement
FFA makes a positive
difference in the lives of students by developing their
potential for
premier leadership, personal growth, and career
success through
agricultural education.
Our local Boaz FFA
Chapter competes in five teams and two individual Career
Development Events (CDE). The team events include:
poultry and livestock judging, Ag mechanics,
Agriconstruction and small engines. The individual
events include: prepared public speaking, and safe
tractor driving.
The FFA Chapter Fall
Fundraisers include the sale of citrus, turkeys, and
hams. FFA members take a field trip to various
agricultural-based industries every spring. Monthly
meetings consist of discussions to plan fundraisers,
field trips, CDE’s, t-shirt designs, and more.
FFA Motto
"
Learning To Do, Doing To Learn, Earning To Live, Living
To Serve."
